Columbia is home to Merriweather Post Pavilion, one of the premier outdoor music venues in the United States. Designed by award-winning architect Frank Gehry, the pavilion has played host to countless artists since opening in 1967.

Symphony Woods and Merriweather Post Pavilion has become a cultural park supporting arts and civic uses for people of all ages.
The Park is transforming and subsequent phases of park development will also include additional opportunities for public input.
