Stony Brook State Park is made up of hilly woodlands, a deep gorge with rugged cliffs overlooking three waterfalls and fascinating rock formations.
Visitors can hike rim, gorge or nature trails, play tennis on park courts, picnic or swim in either of two stream-fed pools. In winter, three miles of cross-country trails are available for skiers. Some winter hiking is allowed, but not on the gorge trails.
The park includes a campground with 127 sites, picnic areas with firepits and tables.
IMPORTANT: Wading & swimmimg in the creek and waterfalls is prohibited and can cost you up to $250 in fines. Swim only in designated areas.
