Mapparium is a 30-foot-wide globe of the world back-lit by a new lighting system that illuminates how the world has changed.
While the relative size and position of the continents are correct, the map’s political boundaries are long out of date. It still represents the pre-World War II, colonial countries. The Mapparium hasn’t changed since 1935.
