Death Hollow is the most enchanting canyon in all of Utah, a landscape straight out of a Disney fairytale but be warned, however, this is a very physical adventure that is best left to seasoned backpackers. Have a few seasons under your belt before committing to Death Hollow.
This is a classic Escalante area backpack trail that leaves an impression on the hiker and feels like an accomplishment. Although a classic, it is just difficult enough and long enough to not see crowds, at least in its upper reaches.

WARNING: Death Hollow contains an abundance of Poison Ivy! Some of it can be avoided by staying directly in the water course, but many of the side trails cross through patches. Long pants and sleeves are a must.
