The Botanical Garden is a spectacular showcase of color and horticultural diversity with eleven specialty display gardens and stunning natural landscape. The Museum of Art has collections of painting, sculpture and decorative arts. Visitors can enjoy year-round family-friendly activities with four distinct festivals held during the year. From Cheekwood in Bloom with more than 150,000 tulips in the Spring, to a children’s wonderland of Christmas trees, trains, Santa and more during Holiday at Cheekwood. Cheekwood celebrates the seasons in style with something for everyone!
Cheekwood also features an outdoor train exhibit set in an enchanted woodland theme with fairies and waterfalls.
A Permanent Collection of Fine Art includes paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, and sculpture, with an emphasis on American art produced between 1910 and 1970. The Permanent Collection regularly rotates.
The Carell Woodland Sculpture Trail that features contemporary sculptures on a woodland trail, a concept not commonly found in American museums. The Trail is a loop of approximately one mile, and includes eleven sculptures.

Fun Fact:
Another Cheek family business was the Cheek-Neal Coffee Company, creators and brewers of MAXWELL HOUSE COFFEE and TEA. The specialty blend was named after and marketed by the best hotel in Nashville, the Maxwell House. The success of the brand launched the local business into nation-wide production and is said to have captured the attention of President Theodore Roosevelt, who exclaimed that it was “good to the last drop!”
